We are currently testing an improved version of WebMail that should dramatically improve performance. The new system spreads the load of the WebMail system across 5 separate servers. To try out the new system, go to https://mailbox.acomp.usf.edu/webfarm.php. Please remember that this is a BETA test — there may be some problems that need to be worked out.
Please report problems to this blog entry and make sure to note the following information:
- Server URL (mailbox1, mailbox2, etc)
- Browser & version (Firefox 1.0.5; Internet Explorer 6, etc)
- Operating System
- A brief summary of what you were doing when the problem occurred.
- The exact error message your received
